I received a DM on Twitter from someone claiming to be underage and working in Universe Club’s adult course. Minors can’t work there, right? Does an adult course even exist in the first place? Sorry for my ignorance, but I’d appreciate any answers. Thank you.

I’m Date◎Yume, a male member. Isn’t this a completely separate organization from Universe Club? After all, there’s no such thing as an “adult course” to begin with. Could it be that an evolved version of the old pink salons has opened in Yoshiwara? Or maybe it’s like a cabaret club in Kabukicho getting upgraded and opening in Ginza（笑） That said, perhaps an adult course has been created but kept hidden from public view, and I’m simply not aware of it. You might want to check with the PR department.

Maezawa from the Corporate Planning Office here. Universe Club does not have an adult course. Also, Universe Club only provides introductions, so registering does not mean you’ll receive a salary. Minors can register with Universe Club. Anyone aged 18 or older is eligible, so 18- and 19-year-olds can register as well—though, of course, people aged 18 and over will soon no longer be considered minors. If you mean working as a staff member, I believe you can also start working there from age 18. I wasn’t entirely sure what you were referring to, but I’ve answered based on what came to mind.
