Looking back on last year, I felt it was a year of major fluctuations because information was circulating more actively.
It was quite common for women to join with a rate of 100,000 yen or so, but if they didn’t receive even a single offer, they would quickly register with another dating club, lower their asking price, and announce the new rate.
I found myself thinking, “Why not wait a little longer?”
Apparently, though, scouts would tell them, “If you haven’t received an offer after about two months, then that isn’t the right price for you.” Since the scout—the person making the introduction—doesn’t earn a commission if there are no offers, they would apparently steer the conversation toward, “Maybe I should lower my price a little…”
A woman from a certain Universe Club—quite a famous one—had boldly declared, “If it’s not 1 million yen, then…” Yet two months later, at another dating club, she was saying, “I’d be happy to receive around 100,000 yen.” I couldn’t help laughing. (This wasn’t about the men’s caliber or anything.)
I was also a little disappointed when an actress who had been meeting someone for 200,000 yen was receiving 100,000 yen at another dating club. (She had changed her makeup and overall look, so I didn’t recognize her at all… lol)
It felt like there were a lot of disappointing stories like that throughout the year.
So, my overall summary would be:
“It was a year with many beautiful women who moved very quickly.”

That’s just how it is. The less impressive girls are usually the ones who say things like that.
When it comes to 70,000–80,000 yen or more—amounts in the six figures—men will do it because they want to, even without being asked. (Men are silly creatures; when a girl responds cutely, they get all fired up.)
Girls like that are also used to handling men. Since they only get gentle wording and cute-sounding amounts in return, the guy ends up raising the allowance on his own.
