I’m Saito, a columnist♪ When all is said and done, the women at dating clubs are beautiful, and there are so many exceptionally wonderful women. Above all, both sides benefit from how easy it is to build a convenient relationship. That said, I make sure to strictly follow one personal rule: “Never, ever fall seriously for someone.” I may support a woman during this fleeting period of her life, but I’m careful never to toy with her feelings.

I’m BB7, a male member. As I go about my papa-katsu (compensated dating in Japan), I’m always wondering: what’s the difference between genuinely liking someone and not genuinely liking them? To be honest, I still don’t really understand the difference between the two.

I’m Rula, a male member of UC and a member of the new salon. Thank you, Mack, for mentioning my name. Yes… I’ve genuinely fallen in love with her. And she genuinely loves me too. I don’t know what the future holds, so I might be making a new offer again a few months from now(笑). But at least in this moment, I’m simply grateful that we’ve come to love each other this deeply. That said, saying, “We don’t know what the future holds, so let’s just enjoy the present together!” feels somewhat childish and irresponsible to me. So when I genuinely fall for someone, I think: “At the very least, as long as she doesn’t live recklessly, I want to make sure she’ll never have to worry about money for the rest of her life.” Perhaps that’s one answer from a man who met someone through a dating club and genuinely fell in love with her.
