I’m 18. I lost my student ID and am having it reissued, so I don’t have any photo ID right now. What should I do?

Maezawa from the Corporate Planning Office here—I’ll answer as well. I seem to recall that a government-issued ID without a photo, together with a yearbook to verify your photo and name, may also have been acceptable. However, I could be mistaken. For now, please submit your application. When you receive a response, it should explain whether identification is required. You can reply to that message and ask about acceptable forms of ID. We’d appreciate it if you could apply first. You can apply anonymously. (As long as your real name is provided when you register, there shouldn’t be a problem.)

Aizawa from the Event Team at East Customer Loyalty Group will answer your question. If you’re under 18, you must bring a photo ID in order to register. We recommend either waiting until your ID can be reissued or obtaining another form of photo ID, such as a passport. However, waiting for your ID to be reissued will likely be quicker than applying for a new one, so we’d appreciate it if you could visit us once it’s ready. We look forward to seeing you.
