Thank you for all your opinions. I thought the idea of using the allowance to make myself more beautiful for the man was really wonderful. I also found myself thinking, “I see,” when some of you said you don’t feel uncomfortable or sad about giving or receiving the money. It’s valuable to hear perspectives different from my own… The man says sadly every time, “Because I like you, I want to believe you’re not only interested in my money…” So I wonder if he ends up feeling less like he’s giving living expenses to his wife and more like he’s lavishing money on his girlfriend. I suppose that’s difficult to change, no matter how much we try… In any case, I’d like to continue appreciating him as I always have and maintain a good relationship.
