As I also mentioned in my answer to another question, couldn’t you show a little humility and consider that your own wording may have been unclear?
The provocative remark, “Can’t you read Japanese?” was too much this time, in my opinion. Seeing those words made me uncomfortable.

Okay, so what was the outcome?
Even if you say you told them, we don’t know whether you actually did, which branch you contacted, or whom you spoke to. What kind of response did you receive? Were you dissatisfied with that response?
Even after rereading your post, none of that is explained.
Also, if all you write is, “You couldn’t say it at the time, but you told the club afterward,” even a non-member could say that.
Please write your question clearly enough to understand.
