In my case, the standards for beauty I’m looking for keep getting higher, until I can virtually no longer find anyone to make an offer to (= “Black just isn’t enough for me”). At the same time, I find myself making offers while thinking, “As long as her looks are tolerable, that’s good enough” (= “Standard is plenty, isn’t it?”). It feels like my mindset has split in two—or something.

I’m Rula, a male member of UC and the new salon. 1. I now tend to choose from the women who send me a “You seem wonderful” message, since I prefer women who are genuinely interested in me. 2. On top of that, I’ve started placing more importance on the woman’s own comments and the club’s comments. Of course, looks still matter to me, but compared with when I first started using a dating club, I feel that the factors above have become much more important.
