For a man of that caliber, even hard-to-book famous restaurants probably wouldn’t seem like anything special. And even if someone went out of their way to spend a huge amount of money on him, I don’t think he’d be particularly impressed. He probably isn’t interested in things that money can simply buy.
So even when it comes to gifts, he’d likely appreciate something like homemade cookies more than designer goods.
As for meals, women occasionally insist on treating me, but once per woman is about the limit. I can’t order my favorite wine while worrying about the other person’s budget, and honestly, it feels a little inconvenient. I prefer paying for myself and ordering whatever I want.
Men like that don’t expect women to provide those kinds of things in the first place.
From my own experience, I have a particularly vivid memory of a woman from Universe treating me to conveyor-belt sushi for lunch. No matter how much you eat, there’s a limit, and since it was lunch, I wasn’t expecting—or particularly looking forward to—drinking much alcohol. (The interesting systems at conveyor-belt sushi restaurants these days were actually pretty entertaining.)
When I waited outside by the exit while she paid at the register, I thought, “So this must be what it feels like to be a kept man,” and found it amusing.
That said, there was no second date.
I absolutely love spending time and having out-of-the-ordinary experiences.
