What level of restaurant would be appropriate? (Too upscale might make her nervous, but something too cheap—like a family restaurant—wouldn’t be suitable either. So what’s the right balance?) They may also wonder how things should progress, (such as when to make an invitation), or when to hand over the transportation allowance. There are many things to think about. Some men may pretend they already know all this, but an honest man may simply explain the situation to his partner. That way, even if things feel a little awkward, she’ll understand why. And if she has experience with this kind of dating, she may even be able to guide him.
