I’m Saito, a columnist♪ I once attended both sessions back-to-back at LSE. Two hours × 2 = four hours, talking to around 24 women for 10 minutes each? It’s incredibly exhausting. That wouldn’t even happen at a hostess club. You just want to go home. Even if there’s a wonderful woman in the first session, you keep thinking, “Maybe there’ll be someone even better in the second session…” and end up losing everything. lol Of course, you can contact them later and meet up, but naturally, inviting someone to meet right after the event that day is more likely to leave a good impression.

Aizawa here. While it may not be considered a rural area, we do hold events regularly in the Kansai region as well. We also sometimes hear from staff at certain branches who would like to organize events. However, due to various circumstances, such as venue availability and staffing, it seems none have taken place yet. Personally, I would love to hold an event in every region of Japan at least once to start with. > The events are generally held in two sessions. Are there people who attend both? There are occasionally people who do, but as Maezawa mentioned, even if you find someone you like during the first session and want to cancel the second, a cancellation fee will still apply. The women may also feel disappointed if the number of male participants decreases. For that reason, we would be delighted if you could attend both sessions. That said, if all the seats have already been filled, you may only be able to attend one session, or you may not be selected in the lottery. Thank you for your understanding.

Maezawa here with an answer. > Regarding the events: They’re held regularly in Tokyo and other major cities, but are there ever any held in regional areas? Even when the event is in Tokyo, the staff have a pretty tough time organizing it. I imagine it’s difficult to fill every spot exactly. And even when they think they’ve successfully gathered enough women, cancellations still come in. Coming up with a theme must be challenging, too, as must finding women who fit that theme. That said, the event staff never complain about any of this—they just go ahead and hold the events as usual. (笑) Given the situation, I imagine attracting enough people would be even more difficult in regional areas. > The events are generally held in two sessions, but are there people who attend both? If I have the whole day free, I’m thinking I might like to attend both, but would it be better not to? If you meet a woman you like during the first session and go out with her, I wonder what you would do about the second session. The event staff may be able to answer that question.
