In this case, if she’s willing to share her real name too, it probably means she wants to become closer, so I don’t think there’s much to worry about. If she won’t tell you her name but asks for the man’s, though, that does make me a little concerned. If you’re a well-known man whose name would come up in a search—which I imagine applies to quite a few people—I think it’s safer not to tell her. > “Tell me which class I’m in!” If you tell her, you’ll be violating the site’s rules. So even if she asks, please don’t tell her. If she really is the woman you were looking for and you’re prepared to accept being permanently banned as a result, you can act at your own risk—but please don’t get angry afterward. (“Why am I being permanently banned over something this minor?” and so on…) Even when people say they’ll keep it secret, the information often makes its way back to us. Usually, we’re contacted immediately after the man tells her—“Apparently I’m in ○○’s class. Could you change it?” and so on—so we can almost always identify who told her.

I’m Saito, a columnist ♪ Here’s my perspective as another male member... “Tell me your real name.” That’s seriously bad news. She’s definitely the type to tell other people and let the secret slip. I think both male and female members know this, but some people casually spill all kinds of details about members of the opposite sex they’ve met in the past— their jobs, where they live, even their real names. A woman who’s that eager to find out what “class” you’re in is, as Leaf-san said, confident in herself—and the type who likes to show off. I’d end things with her right away.
