About membership classes

I heard that when a new woman registers, her profile becomes visible immediately to Black members, after two days to Platinum members, after one week to Gold members, and after one month to Standard members. I had the management hide my profile two days after completing my registration. However, I found someone labeled as a Gold member among the men who had added me to their favorites. Can Gold members see newly registered women right away? Or was he displaying a false membership class? Was the information about different visibility delays by class simply untrue? Or did they only stop accepting offers while leaving my profile visible?
