In Universe, where members are registered under their actual age, I don’t think knowing that would really help you do anything about it. Plus, the system automatically updates your age when your birthday comes around. On apps where your age stays the same as when you registered, you might be able to register at 24, turn 26, and still say you’re in your early twenties. But in Universe, your actual age is always displayed on your profile, so I don’t think that’s possible. Incidentally, you can now search by age range in one-year increments. I say “now” because until about two years ago, the age ranges were fixed, and you couldn’t search in one-year increments. For example, you couldn’t specifically search for women aged 18 to 22. In that sense, I can’t help wondering whether this question might be a probing question.

For example, you can search by specifying an age range in one-year increments, such as 21–23. You can also search by factors other than age, or combine multiple criteria. It’s also possible to browse profiles without specifying an age.
