I get the impression that most male members don’t hand over their business cards on the first date. Is that actually the case? Wouldn’t it come across as showing off to the woman—like, “Look how important I am!”? It could also make her feel pressured to reveal her real name, so I think it’s better not to offer my business card in the first place.

I’m not sure whether the male members hand out their business cards, but everyone’s different, so I think you should simply do what you prefer.

There are pros and cons to handing one out, just as there are pros and cons to not handing one out. Either approach is perfectly fine.
