Is it possible to block people from specific companies or industries so they can’t view my profile?
Because of my work, I often meet business owners and other executives, and I’d like to keep my use of this service from being discovered...
They can apparently hide your profile from a specific person by entering their name, but I don’t think they’ll do it for an entire company or industry.

That does seem pretty difficult.
Also, people don’t always accurately report their occupations, and those with multiple titles may only mention one of them.
If you don’t want your identity or face recognized, Universe offers options such as keeping your profile secret, not uploading photos showing your face, or blurring them.
With SALON, there are no photos to begin with, so unless you happen to be matched with someone, they can’t simply view your profile.
Apparently, you’ll receive fewer offers than if you leave all your photos publicly visible.
