Love means more than material things ♡ I’m usually the one who gets nothing on special occasions like that, so I’m jealous♪ Make sure to return the favor with something of similar value, okay♪

If your boyfriend gave you better gifts, then I think he really made an effort.
Your papa (a male supporter) is simply supporting you. If you want better gifts, I think it would be difficult unless you’re willing to treat him almost like a boyfriend.
That said, it’s not enough for you to feel that way alone—you probably won’t receive great gifts unless your papa feels the same way too.

I don’t think being a business owner necessarily means he’ll buy you nice things. What matters is how much love he gives back…
If you think you’re doing him a favor by dating him, then at least getting something in return is better than nothing.
I think that kind of attitude is reflected in how he views your behavior overall.

It’s a good thing your boyfriend comes first, isn’t it?

Some women don’t even receive a White Day gift in return… (I saw someone post in the Q&A box that it ended their relationship.)
When you think of it that way, you should be grateful just to have received a present.
Just because he’s a business owner doesn’t necessarily mean his gifts will be more expensive than your boyfriend’s or that he’ll be good at surprises. Everyone’s different…
Take better care of your boyfriend.

Doesn’t that just show how hard your boyfriend, who’s around your age, is trying for you?
Well, I don’t give presents, so it doesn’t really matter to me…

Maybe he doesn’t value you, that’s simply how he sees things, you rank lower than the other people he’s seeing, or perhaps her boyfriend just made a huge effort. Those are the possibilities that come to mind.
I’m very competitive, so I always do my best not to lose. As far as I can tell from what my partners have told me, I haven’t lost out to any of their past boyfriends either.
It ultimately comes down to personal values and ways of thinking, so there may not be much you can do. But what matters is how the other person receives it, and if you were disappointed this time, then I’d say his response was disappointing.
Either prioritize your boyfriend, or look for another papa (a male supporter).
