I think sensuality is restrained eroticism, though there may also be such a thing as uninhibited sensuality. I find The Tale of Genji sensual, but I’m sure some people wouldn’t understand why.

It’s the contrast.
In a word, I’m drawn to people with a wide range of sides to them—people who don’t just seem unhappy or lonely, but who can swing just as far in the opposite direction.

Compared with when I was younger, I’ve started to find women with a delicate, fleeting aura more alluring too. Maybe that’s something that comes with age.
I’m drawn to women like Hikono Kasai, Takehisa Yumeji’s beloved.
Though I only know her from photographs.

I think people experience it in different ways.
Some people find a voluptuous, direct look sexy, while others may feel the way you do.
As I got older, I started finding the women dancing in the Awa Odori incredibly alluring, even though they show almost no skin and their body lines aren’t visible at all. It made me realize that our perception can change with age, too.
In short, I just wanted to say that it’s different for everyone.
