I'm wondering whether to switch to Type B.

I've been registered for about two years and have met various men, but when I turn someone down because I'm on my period, I sometimes get reactions that are far from gentlemanly (the creepy old-man side comes out), and I feel scared—or maybe just reluctant—to go out for a first meal with someone. That said, there are also men who, even though I'm Type C, simply end things after dinner without saying anything and suggest an adult relationship from the next meeting onward, so I understand that all kinds of people are out there... I chose Type C mainly because I wanted to receive more offers, but in reality, are the men who make offers to Type B more likely to be gentlemanly? I personally enjoy sex, but I'm the kind of person who also wants to enjoy dates and other things besides sex. Would switching from Type C to Type B leave a bad impression?

Some men who offer to B-type women may come across as gentlemanly not because they genuinely are, but simply because that’s the rule for the first meeting. One of the women I’m seeing is also B-type, and she received treatment on her second date that was similar to what you experienced—anything but gentlemanly. So while you can screen out some people to a certain extent during the first meeting, I’m not sure choosing B-type necessarily lowers the chances of encountering someone like that. I don’t think changing your type would leave a bad impression.

I’ve heard that the number of offers doesn’t differ all that much between B and C. I think it would be fine to switch to Type B. I don’t think it would leave a bad impression. More importantly, rather than trying to get offers at any cost, it’s better to focus on building ongoing relationships. Let’s make your activities with the dating club enjoyable and mutually beneficial.

I often hear women in Type B talk about creepy older men, and I think there are a certain number of them in both types. As for switching from Type C to Type B, I assume they either lost their nerve or found someone they’re generally satisfied with. Personally, I don’t have a particularly bad impression of it.
