Since I was inexperienced, I couldn’t bring up the allowance, and we ended things without the other person mentioning it either, so apparently I didn’t receive any allowance…!

Sometimes staff comments mention women who didn’t have a good experience on apps.
Of course, the staff don’t write exactly what happened—they word it a little vaguely.
They’ll add something like, “Please keep this confidential.”
Normally, when I make an offer, I see having app experience as a negative, but once I actually made an offer because I wanted to hear what had happened.
When I asked, “Things were pretty tough for you on the apps, weren’t they?” they told me all sorts of stories, and it was pretty interesting, lol.
By the way, I also had an adult relationship (intimate) with her on a pay-per-meeting arrangement for an allowance of 50,000 yen.

If you wrote something like that in your profile, it would be like saying, “This person will sleep with you for free,” so I doubt they’d include it…
I don’t know how much detail is actually included in the profile, so why not ask the staff directly?
Also, isn’t the reason you want to join a dating club because something like this happened and you thought a club would be safer? If so, I think you should be honest and explain it to the staff during your interview. Sorry if I’ve misunderstood.
By the way, I don’t think this was a failure—you were simply played and the other person managed to get away.

It probably won’t give them a bad impression, but they may take advantage of you.
I think you should only bring it up after getting a feel for the other person. I also wouldn’t recommend volunteering that information during the interview.
For example, if they ask why you stopped using the app and applied for an interview with Universe, I’d keep it simple, along the lines of: “The men I met through the app weren’t very sincere, so I was hoping the male members at Universe would be more genuine.”
