I think it’s best to decide in advance on the minimum amount you’d be comfortable with, as that will make the discussion go more smoothly!

Basically, I go along with the man’s preferences. If something is truly unreasonable, I end things with him. Whether he’s a beginner or not, that’s how I’ve maintained relationships without pushing myself too hard.
