I’m thinking of registering as a C, but if the allowance is as stated above, I’d like to turn down anyone, regardless of who they are. Should I let the club know that in advance?
It varies. Some people apparently get 1.5, while others receive 5 or more. It seems the allowance is determined by how much value the questioner is perceived to have.

I don’t think people who don’t understand that are viewed very favorably.
I don’t think it’s better to bring it up.
I’m a man, so I don’t know exactly how many men offer what level of allowance. Besides, I think it varies from woman to woman.
