I’ve made plenty of mistakes in both business and papa-katsu (compensated dating in Japan), so I’ll share just five of the major ones.
① I was dating a married woman without knowing it, and her husband showed up
This nearly ruined my life. “I didn’t know” wasn’t an excuse, so it turned into a huge problem. I settled it with money.
② I misunderstood the word “entertain” and didn’t give her an allowance
This left me with a wound just as deep as—or even deeper than—number one, and I deeply regret it.
She said, “Then I’ll entertain you tomorrow,” and I took it literally, so I didn’t give her an allowance. Later, she indirectly brought up the allowance, so I panicked and transferred her a little extra. I really regret it. We’re still in touch, so I feel like she’s barely forgiven me, but it’s become a huge trauma for me. I’m truly sorry.
Since then, I make sure to give the allowance by the day before. For an adult relationship (intimate), I don’t even go into the room unless I’ve handed over the allowance. I was absolutely the worst. Honestly, I was even worse than Carlos.
③ The incident where I couldn’t give her an allowance after a letter date
This was another thing I never should have done. Due to various circumstances, I became unable to go through with the letter date and then lost contact with her. Since it was before we met, the letter date ended up being nothing but wasted time and effort for her. Quite a while later, I apologized by sending her an Amazon gift card worth ¥10,000. I’m truly sorry.
④ I stepped on a landmine during a letter date
I sincerely complimented a woman I was exchanging messages with during a letter date, saying, “You look like idol ○○, but you’re even prettier♪” Suddenly, she snapped at me: “I hate being compared to other people!”
She didn’t block me, but I hurt her with a careless comment, and I’m truly sorry.
⑤ Dating multiple women
In a way, this is the worst one of all…
I tell my ace, former ace, and next-in-line ace that “you’re the only one I’m dating,” but in reality, I’m dating more than ten women m(｡>__<｡)m
