If you bought it yourself, you have nothing to worry about.
I’m not interested in bags, so I wouldn’t know it was worth ¥500,000. If you didn’t tell me, I wouldn’t think anything of it.

A ¥500,000 bag in your teens?
I think you should carry whatever you want to own. If your parents bought it for you, or you saved the allowance your papa (male supporter) gave you and bought it yourself, then I don’t see a problem.
Though, you’d have to have met him quite a few times and received around ¥500,000 in total allowance for it to make sense.
If you went to the trouble of buying it, you’d want to carry it around, right?

Joe thinks it’s perfectly fine even if it was something you received from your papa (since he’d probably be happy to see you using it—am I in the minority?), and it would make him like you even more.
