High-end department-store cosmetics are a safe choice, but even then, people have their own preferences.
When I want to give a thoughtful gift to a female friend or acquaintance, I usually choose CHANEL or DIOR lip balm. It’s reasonably priced, and since it’s lip balm, you don’t have to worry about choosing the right shade—it’s something anyone can use. I doubt anyone would dislike it…
That said, if you’re giving a gift to a woman you’re dating, I think cash would probably make her happiest.
