I haven’t met this papa recently, but we still occasionally message each other on LINE. Since he had given me a gift before, I sent him some chocolate through LINE Gifts today for Valentine’s Day.

Not Starbucks gift cards or anything like that, but if it’s a physical gift, you have to provide an address, so maybe he’s wondering where to send it… Or perhaps he wanted to give it to you in person. I don’t think anyone would be unhappy to receive chocolates. Whether it’s chocolates, a LINE message, or anything else, I think the value lies in the fact that the person thought of you and sent it to you. Not saying thank you would be unpleasant from a basic human standpoint, but maybe he’s spending the day with his family and can’t reply. Why not try contacting him again tomorrow or later?

Maybe your papa (a male supporter) has sent LINE gifts before but has never received one, so he simply doesn’t know how. If you sent a chocolate gift with a message, I’m sure he’d be happy to receive it. Why not bring it up as a conversation starter? ^ ^ It’s me.
