It’s not that old-fashioned here, so I don’t give one.

For the past 20 years or so, I feel there’s been a growing trend of companies banning obligatory Valentine’s chocolates. I believe the reason was that they placed too much of a burden on women.

I receive a huge amount every year, and it’s becoming a problem.

I kept saying, “I’m absolutely not giving anything back for White Day. Even if I get something, I’m not returning the favor.” And now no one gives me anything anymore. I’m not criticizing people for accepting something without giving anything in return, but I guess no one gives you anything if there’s nothing in it for them after all, lol.

Since I work with nothing but women, I don’t give any out. Everyone knows how much I love chocolate, so I’m the one who gets chocolates from everyone.

When I find a great chocolate shop, I sometimes buy chocolates for women. I receive them occasionally too, but obvious obligation chocolates are honestly a nuisance because thinking of a return gift is such a hassle.
