I live in Singapore. Because of COVID, I haven’t been able to travel abroad, and for a long time I’ve had very limited social interaction even within Singapore (and places like adult entertainment venues and cabaret clubs have mostly shut down as well). I joined Universe hoping to meet new people in some way.

In addition to meeting people in Singapore, I also wanted to connect with Japanese women, so I offered to have a video call after a letter date. Some women accepted, which was a good start. For the video call, I offered 10,000 yen for an hour of conversation. That woman and I agreed on those terms, so that’s fine, but do you think there’s actually a need for this kind of arrangement among the women on Universe? There’s a possibility, however small, that I may travel to Japan for work, and if the timing works out, we might be able to have dinner or an adult relationship (intimate). But since that’s uncertain, would this offer be unattractive to the women at the club unless it led to something that could realistically earn them money? My profile is currently private, but if I wrote that I’m looking for someone to chat with over video calls, do you think I might get comments like, “That sounds lovely”?
