I have lots of free time during my university’s spring break, so I’m thinking about secretly starting a job at a hostess club without telling my papa. I’ve gone in for a few trial shifts already. I plan to do it alongside the regular part-time job I’ve had for a while. Would a papa notice if a girl started working in the nightlife industry?

Well, if nothing changes, there’s no way they’d notice. Unless, of course, your attitude starts becoming more like a hostess or your appearance gets really flashy. As an aside, working in the nightlife industry can take a toll on your health and lower your immunity, so please be careful about COVID.

A papa (a male supporter) who sees her at least twice a week would probably notice, but it might still be hard to tell whether she’s started working in nightlife or has another papa or boyfriend. I assume the reason you have time to work at a hostess club is that you don’t have an exclusive papa (a male supporter) who sees you every day, so there’s probably nothing to worry about.

Most men are oblivious to changes in women, so they probably won’t notice.

If you don’t say anything, he probably won’t notice. But if you start showing the typical hostess-club habit of fishing for gifts or money, he might feel like you’ve become jaded. If you’re going to hide it, make sure you keep it hidden from him all the way to the end.

I don’t think people will notice that much. Or are you looking for someone to be more considerate toward you?

A woman would probably only notice if she were very close to you, but otherwise, she likely wouldn’t.
