If that’s how you feel, why not just meet the people who are willing to meet you?!
It’s true that if someone really wants to see you, they’ll probably meet you regardless of the circumstances. However, some people may genuinely feel that it’s better to hold off for now due to their position at work, family circumstances, or other personal reasons.
Hopefully, you can build a relationship where you’re both considerate of each other.
