I think it’s worth putting your current feelings out there, even if you’re prepared for the worst.
When I found out my papa (a male supporter) was seeing someone else, I used that approach, and we actually became even closer—I ended up really locking him down.
He was clearly pleased that I showed my emotions. At first, he was surprised by how upset I got, but I think it appealed to his masculine pride: “I thought she was more level-headed, but she really likes me this much.” I’m glad I got angry and cried.
That said, some papas may find that kind of reaction annoying, so it’s best to read the other person’s response and gradually show more emotion.

Your situation kind of reminds me of someone who met a person through a dating app but hadn’t actually deleted their account yet.
It comes through that you love him so much that this has left you completely devastated. So rather than doubting him just because you received an email, why not try trusting him?
If you continue to believe in him and love him just as much as before, he may return those feelings in the same way.
