For some reason, swimsuit photos became popular among the staff the year before last (because they tend to result in more offers), so a high percentage of the women’s profiles on the members-only site featured swimsuit photos.
Last year, however, the policy was to avoid swimsuit photos whenever possible (unless the woman specifically requested them). So I was surprised to hear that some staff members were still asking women whether they wanted to take swimsuit photos. I wonder if they intended to use “the woman wanted swimsuit photos” as an excuse.

It depends on the woman’s figure, but in most cases, they do result in more offers.
However, I think the men attracted by swimsuit photos are likely to be mainly interested in her body, so I’m not sure whether that necessarily leads to a good match for the woman.
We also heard from some men who said they disliked swimsuit photos because they made the site feel like an adult-entertainment service, so we changed our policy to generally avoid taking them.
Of course, if you want swimsuit photos, we can take them, and since there are fewer women with swimsuit photos now, they may help you stand out. But I think it would be best to start by trying your luck with fully clothed photos.
You could also adjust to swimsuit photos if that trend comes around again.
Besides, even without wearing a swimsuit, some of the clothes available at the branch are somewhat daring, so I think outfits like those should be more than enough.

If they ask you to have swimsuit photos taken, it probably means they consider your figure attractive.
I can’t say how much it would affect the number of offers, but I imagine you’d receive more offers from male members who place a strong emphasis on looks.
If you aren’t getting any offers, trying swimsuit photos when your profile is reshot wouldn’t be a bad idea.
Personally, a swimsuit photo is just one factor. I make offers based on an overall impression, including other aspects as well.
