Thank you very much for all your replies. I learned that both approaches are possible—some people do make offers and some don’t. I also found out that there are various factors involved, such as profiles being hidden or people having a set range of preferences. I’m also a fan of the anonymous message board, so I was happy to receive your answers. I only recently registered with Universe Club, and I’m based at a regional branch that’s a plane ride away. From the replies to my previous question, I learned that Kazu and columnist Fuu have also made offers to female members at the branch where I’m registered. So, if it’s possible to make a reverse offer, I’d love to do so. (Of course, it’s perfectly fine if you only accept if you’re interested.) (Unfortunately, I wasn’t within Make-Otoko’s preferred range.) If I wanted to make a reverse offer to one of the anonymous message-board respondents, how should I go about it? (Everyone who answers comes across as having a lot of life experience, so I’m writing this a little nervously, worried that my lack of depth will be immediately seen through.)
