Even if you’re reincarnated, you won’t still be the same “you.” That’s impossible.
The soul goes to the heavenly realm first, then rides down a loooong slide into a different body.
Things you leave unfinished in this life, or things you’re interested in but haven’t experienced yet, carry over into your next life. So it’s probably best to do the things you want to do while you’re still you.
That said, souls that are close in this life may still end up having close relationships in the next one—just in different bodies.

I’ve had my ace and former ace tell me, “Even in our next lives, I want you to be my lover” (or, more accurately, I’ve forced them to say it), so I want to be myself again in my next life too.
That said, according to a certain column writer, us papas will apparently be reborn as flies, so it seems I’ll only be able to see my aces in this lifetime.
