There are plenty of enjoyable dates besides meals and hotels:
Walking, concerts, Noh performances, live shows, art museums, museums, hiking, drives, hot springs, visiting shrines and temples, karaoke, strip shows, musicals, zoos, aquariums, cruises, castle tours, cherry-blossom viewing, autumn leaves, spa treatments, and illuminations.
Basically, I invite them to things I personally want to do. Being dragged along to something you’re not interested in wouldn’t be fun, so I don’t force anyone.
Sometimes we spend three or four hours together, and other times we stay overnight. We decide based on the mood and both our schedules.
That said, I don’t continue seeing women who, after the first date, treat every date as strictly a four-hour arrangement.

If you go to places you’d normally visit with a romantic partner or family, you can enjoy all kinds of outings.
The length of the date depends on the girl. Some spend a short amount of time with each female friend, meeting lots of people on a tight schedule, while others take it easy and spend the whole day with one friend. So dates can last anywhere from two or three hours to half a day.
Eventually, though, it’s nice when both types of girls can relax and spend around eight hours together, saying, “Wow, it’s already that late? Time flies!”

When we have plenty of time, I go golfing with the papas who enjoy golf. I’ve also gone for drives and been taken out on a cruiser.
Sometimes we swim in a hotel pool, and other times we work out together at the gym.

I love looking at art, so I enjoy visiting museums. Of the exhibitions currently on, I highly recommend the “Takamura Gyūjin Exhibition” at the Okura Museum of Art. It’s a small museum, so it doesn’t take too long to see everything. Afterwards, it could be nice to discuss art over afternoon tea at the Okura.
For something a little different, I went rafting on the Shiribetsu River in Niseko last summer. There are shorter, easier courses, but I chose the full-length course, which took over six hours. It was incredibly exciting, so I’d love to go again this summer.

Most of my dates involve dinner and hotels.
That said, I’ve also gone on dates to the zoo, and before COVID, I went on karaoke dates as well.
For dinner-and-hotel dates, three to four hours is the usual length, but other types of dates can sometimes last longer.

It’s usually three to four hours, though some days it can be as long as six.

Dinner, hotels, and trips are more than enough for me… It’s fun to just relax together in some fancy hotel suite or whatever. And every now and then, we’ll go see a movie too.
As I mentioned before, I also often go to Ferrari and Lamborghini test-drive events with a papa (a male supporter) who loves cars.
Our dates can range from three or four hours to spending seven nights together, so it really varies.
