I’m not one of the people answering, but I’m curious about the characters here: Mac-san’s girl with binge-eating disorder, Joe-san’s Shi-chan, and Win-san’s engaged girl. Have they been written about in any of the columns? I tried looking, but I’m sorry—I couldn’t find anything. If there is one, please let me know.

They seem to have relationships that go much deeper than ordinary papa-katsu, so I wonder how things will turn out. Is Shi-chan heading toward breaking up a marriage? I’ve experienced binge eating myself, so that one caught my attention. An engagement is so rare in every sense that I’m curious about that one too. Maybe because, from my perspective, it feels like she’s throwing her life away. I also think that if you met a papa (a male supporter) like that, you could probably leave papa-katsu behind for good. What makes everyone decide to quit?
