I’m Shingo Lee (Shingori), a columnist.
I was going to write at length, but I feel the same way as Mac-san. There aren’t that many options for people who make intimate recordings, so the steps are basically the same.
I encrypt the files and store them on a microSD card that can’t be accessed without a specific smartphone and device.
It may be a little excessive, but after filming on my phone, I confirm once again before we part ways that it’s okay for me to keep the recordings. If she wants them deleted, I have her delete them from the album, then empty the trash as well.
Another option is to film with her smartphone and have her send the files later. If she changes her mind, she simply won’t send them, so it won’t become a hassle.
Even if she asks me to delete them later, it can be difficult to prove that I did, so I think it’s important to get her consent at the time of filming—or when receiving the files.
