Should I avoid wearing black for my reshoot?

I’m Maezawa from the President’s Office, and I’ll answer this as well. The staff have recently been saying that black is okay too, so maybe times are changing. But in my experience, although black clothes look good in photos, they don’t lead to as many offers. On the other hand, white or light-colored clothes tend to bring in more offers. So if you want more offers, white or light-colored clothing is generally the better choice. As for blending into the white background, that happens because the exposure is pushed too far instead of being stopped right at the limit. The trick is to stop just before that point. (笑) Also, in winter, close-fitting knitwear that shows your body line is the strongest choice. I think many men will feel like making an offer. With knitwear, you don’t necessarily have to stick to white or light colors, but black makes your body line—and especially the shape of your chest—harder to see, which kind of defeats the purpose of wearing knitwear. Also, avoid dark-colored stockings. If you want to show off your legs, the thinner they are, the better. Bare legs might be fine too, but women seem to feel that any imperfections are more noticeable when they go bare-legged ＞＜

This is my first time answering as Oyama from the staff. Black clothing inevitably gives off a cool impression, so I think it’s fine as long as it suits your personality. By the way, since the Universe office has a lot of white in the background, wearing white may cause your beautiful figure to blend into it. The photographer’s skill also plays a role, of course, but I recommend choosing a color other than white that matches your personality!

Akai from Universe Club here. As for reshooting, there isn’t any particular color you should avoid. Black can create a more mature impression, so for some women, it may actually be the better choice. One style to avoid is overly loose-fitting clothing. Even if you have a great figure, baggy clothes can make you look heavier than you are... Some men may like denim outfits, but they can look too casual and don’t really evoke a date, so we don’t recommend them. An outfit with a skirt that flatters your figure will probably help you make a stronger impression!
