If a woman is placed in the Gold class at her initial interview, can she later be moved up to the Platinum class after some time if the staff decides to do so?

💬 Answer from 前澤(スタッフ): Maezawa here—I’ll answer this one too. There are cases where someone gets upgraded after registering as Gold and suddenly receiving a flood of offers. (That’s just one example.) In such cases, they may receive a flood of offers on the very first day, but the class upgrade may still come a few days later. Sometimes it’s unclear whether the offers really qualify as a flood. For example, you might receive two offers right after registering and wonder whether those two will l…

It’s great that women can now like men. I have a question about giving and receiving likes: Can registered users other than the people involved see who liked whom?

💬 Answer from 前澤(スタッフ): Maezawa here to answer. Rest assured, no one registered on the site besides the person involved will find out. Note: The staff will know.

I’m a female member, and I’d like to hear men’s opinions. For example, when going to a high-end restaurant, which is better: a woman who acts like it’s her first time having such a wonderful experience, or one who acts like she’s used to being treated well? The former seems endearing, while the latter comes across as dignified. I’ve received lots of offers, or I haven’t received that many offers… I used to receive this much allowance, a...

💬 Answer from 斉藤さんだぞ♪: I’m Saito, a columnist♪ I read Nonta’s answer and thought, “That makes sense.” A sense of gratitude… that’s lovely. Personally, I don’t really care either way, but I dislike “lies, exaggerations, and misleading behavior.” I hate anything that’s a hassle. I’m not fond of the Minato-ku girls who walk into a restaurant and immediately tell the chef, “This place looks delicious…” (I can’t help thinking, “Try the food first, then say that.”) Even women who know how to hold a f…

When men are introduced to me (when an offer is sent via LINE), many of them are significantly older or younger than the age listed. I’ve seen the response saying it’s because their profile still shows the age they were when they originally registered, but can’t anything be done about this? I’m listing my actual age, so what’s the deal with men being so far off?

💬 Answer from 斉藤さんだぞ♪: I’m Saito, a columnist ♪ Rather than being disliked for lying about your age, wouldn’t it be better to offer an allowance generous enough to outbid the younger ones? A Hitomin-style answer.

I understand that women will be able to send likes starting on the 18th, but if a man’s profile is currently set to fully public, can women see it already? Or will it only become visible from the 18th onward?

💬 Answer from 前澤(スタッフ): Maezawa here. It will become visible starting on the 18th. However, if you send an offer, the man’s profile will be sent directly to the woman you offered it to, so it should remain visible to her as usual even before the 18th.

If staff receive ideal reports from both the man and woman after a particular arrangement, they can understand the differences in their perspectives. If there are any interesting cases that can be made public, could you share them in a column or blog post? I think it would help both male and female members improve their skills.

💬 Answer from 斉藤さんだぞ♪: I’m Saito, the column writer♪ Just as Yamagishi-san said, sometimes they tell you the male member’s name, and sometimes they don’t. Apparently, a female member once wrote feedback about me, and the staff contacted her, asking, “Could you tell us the male member’s name for reference?” She reportedly replied, “He’s the one with the trendy name who writes the columns.” She told me about it as a funny story, but since quite a bit of time had passed since our first meeting, I …

I’m a female member. If I’m judged to have improved in appearance or other areas during a reshoot, is it possible to move up from the rank assigned when I registered?

💬 Answer from 斉藤さんだぞ♪: I’m Saito♪, a column writer. It’s only natural for women to get their hopes up, thinking that being promoted to a higher rank will mean a higher allowance and a higher-ranking man as well. After reading Nonta’s answer, I think it’s best not to get too excited or discouraged and simply keep that in mind.

I’m a male member. During my interview, I was told not to mention to women that there are different classes. However, in the Q&A section, staff members casually use the word “class.” Did I misunderstand what was said during the interview, or has the system changed? Some members were interviewed years ago, so wouldn’t it be helpful to post the rules explained during the interview on the terms-and-conditions page?

💬 Answer from 前澤(スタッフ): Maezawa here. Men are told: “Women don’t know about the classes, so please refrain from discussing them.” Because of that, I think the confusion may come from how this is interpreted: A: “You must not mention the existence of the classes at all.” B: “You must not mention which class a woman belongs to.” Originally, I believe the intention was simply that the class system itself should not be discussed. If that’s the case, then I don’t think the rules have changed. That…

💬 Answer from 前澤(スタッフ): Maezawa here with a response. I understood that part; what I meant was whether it might work as an emergency measure. I’m not sure whether that didn’t come across clearly, or whether you meant that even as an emergency measure, it wasn’t acceptable. Either way, I’m sorry. I have a question about male members’ profiles. Roughly what percentage of male members have posted a profile photo? Also, how many currently have their profile settings set to “Allow profile searches”? 💬 Answer from 斉藤さんだぞ♪: I’m Saito, the columnist♪ So, 7,000 women will be concentrating their “likes” on just 60 men (26 of whom have publicly available photos). This could get pretty intense. With reverse offers, I assume women generally search for male members based in their own area. For example, I don’t think women in Tokyo would search for men based in Nagoya or Osaka. 💬 Answer from 前澤(スタッフ): Maezawa here. The person who handles the programming is off on weekends and holidays, so I haven’t been able to confirm yet. For now, though, as a temporary workaround, you can change your registered branch. 💬 Answer from 斉藤さんだぞ♪: I’m Saito, a columnist♪ > I hope there aren’t any male members who are rich, handsome, stylish, and entertaining. Even if there were such wonderful men, they couldn’t spend a huge amount of time with every woman, and women wouldn’t keep trying to meet men like that and monopolize their time forever. Making a reverse offer to a man seems like a good idea, but do men’s profiles include the age range of women they’re looking for?
