Female members can send reverse offers to male respondents they like by emailing the administrator to express their interest. Male members can learn which female members are interested in them by answering questions and sharing their opinions.

Thank you as always. I previously checked with a staff member as well, but as I understand it, entering an email address is currently required for the post-date survey. However, I imagine quite a few people communicate with the club via LINE. Since entering an email address is mandatory, I wonder if some people may be choosing not to complete the post-date survey. Is there any possibility of improving this?
💬 Answer from 前澤(スタッフ):
Maezawa here.
Is it harder for people who communicate via LINE to fill out the survey if there’s a field for an email address?
In other words, does that mean people who mainly use LINE may not have an email address, so they can’t fill in the email field and therefore can’t submit the survey?
That could be one possibility.
However, if no email address is provided, we won’t know whose survey it is, which means we can’t really use it as helpful feedback. ><
So it does need …

Roughly how much do male members of Universe spend per date, all-in—including the allowance, meals, hotel, and other expenses? I imagine it depends on the terms of the arrangement, though.

Wouldn’t Universe Club be considered facilitating prostitution?
💬 Answer from 前澤(スタッフ):

This does not constitute managing prostitution.
In fact, I sometimes get yelled at because I can’t accommodate the men’s requests.

I’m a female member. I heard that women are given star ratings (starting at three stars). When someone has four or five stars, does that rating apply within her rank, or is it based on all registered female members? I’d also appreciate it if you could tell me what percentage of women have each number of stars.
💬 Answer from 前澤(スタッフ):
Maezawa here.
As for the star ratings, they reflect the personality evaluations made by the interviewer.
Leaving looks aside, they assess qualities such as consideration for others, sincerity, and interpersonal skills, and represent the evaluation with a number of stars:
★★★★★ Highly recommended
★★★★ Recommended
★★★ No issues
★★ For people who appreciate a tolerant personality
★ For experienced members
The number of stars is therefore unrelated to the woman’s cl…

Can a woman who was rejected in an interview apply again? I saw in a previous answer that this wasn’t possible as of December 2018. Has that changed since then? Also, if I was rejected in Tokyo, would it be possible to interview again in Osaka?
💬 Answer from 前澤(スタッフ):
Maezawa here—I’ll answer as well.
I assume you’re referring to something I mentioned in a previous answer. I thought there probably hadn’t been any changes since then...
I’m glad to hear everything is okay.
However, the information may not have reached everyone on the ground, so it might be a good idea to add a note along the lines of:
“I was told by Mr. Takita that I could attend an interview, so I’m applying again.”

I have my first date with a woman I’m seeing regularly since the reverse-offer system started next week. If I ask the branch, can they tell me whether she searched the men’s profiles and viewed mine? I’m worried she might say, “You’re already here, so why were you looking so hard?” lol
💬 Answer from 前澤(スタッフ):
Maezawa here.
> If I contact the branch office and ask whether she searched the men’s profiles and viewed mine, would they be able to tell me?
They might be able to find out by checking the server logs, but no other tool is provided that shows who accessed your profile. So even if you ask, I don’t think they’ll be able to tell you.

I’ll be starting arrangements with the two women I contacted after receiving reverse offers later this month. I’m looking for long-term relationships, and I’m already continuing to see one woman I was dating before the reverse offers. Depending on how things go with these two new women, it would be physically impossible to accept any more “You seem wonderful” messages, so I’m thinking of turning off search permission. 💬 Answer from 前澤(スタッフ):
Maezawa here.
There are currently 500 men with public profiles.
That number is gradually increasing, so I don’t think we can say the trend you mentioned has started to appear just yet.
If the number of men making their profiles public starts to decline, that would be the first sign.

If I have new photos taken, will the staff comments written after my first shoot be deleted?
💬 Answer from 前澤(スタッフ):
Maezawa here.
There were two similar questions, but I’ll answer this one as well, just in case.
Even when photos are retaken, our policy is to add to the original comment rather than delete it. So the initial staff comment will remain.
That said, there are rare cases where it may accidentally be overwritten and the previous comment disappears, but that would be an exception.

I’m a female member. Thank you as always for your support. I have a question about selfie photos. I often receive likes from men, but lately I haven’t been getting any offers. ①What is the purpose of the like feature? ②Why do men send likes? (If they’re not going to make an offer, is there a feature that lets them save someone to their favorites by sending a like, for example?) I’d like to hear the opinions of the staff and male members...
💬 Answer from 前澤(スタッフ):
Maezawa here with some answers.
> ① What is the “Like!” feature for?
It’s basically the same as the Like feature on social media. It lets you see whether other people think the photo you uploaded looks good, so to speak.
② Why do men give women Likes?
(If they’re not making an offer, is there a feature where liking someone saves them to their favorites, for example?)
I think they simply give a Like when they think the photo looks good.
That said, whether it leads direc…

💬 Answer from 前澤(スタッフ):
Maezawa answers:
> When a female member introduces a friend and the friend officially registers, is the referral fee paid by bank transfer?
Yes, it’s paid by bank transfer.
We’ve never paid it any other way. If absolutely necessary, we might be able to hand it over in person at the branch, but accounting probably wouldn’t be happy about that. So unless there are exceptional circumstances, I don’t think we can pay by any method other than bank transfer.

I registered about two years ago but withdrew because work got busy. I’m thinking of registering again—should I just request an interview as usual?
💬 Answer from 前澤(スタッフ):
Maezawa here.
Yes, the best option would be to contact the branch where you were previously registered directly. That should make re-registering go smoothly.
You can also apply as usual and note that you were previously registered in the comments section, and the branch should be contacted.
In most cases, it will come to light during the interview even if you don’t mention it, but I think it’s best to let them know in advance.

Most women are registering for the first time, so that is a possibility.
> Aren’t there men who think, “That’s supposed to be once a month?”

You can register if you’re 18 or older (so 18-year-olds are included) and have graduated from high school.
It’s fine even if you’re not attending university or working—for example, if you’re helping out at home.
However, if you’re 18 or 19, you’ll need a photo ID, so please keep that in mind.

What determines whether a woman is featured among the new profiles on Instagram or the website? Does not being featured mean that, from the staff’s perspective—including her looks and personality—she isn’t particularly recommended?
💬 Answer from 前澤(スタッフ):
Maezawa here.
The Instagram feed displayed on the website is the same one, so they’re essentially identical. Occasionally, the connection doesn’t work properly and the images may differ, though.
As for the selection criteria… Since faces aren’t shown on Instagram, things like the person’s outfit may be taken into consideration. However, we don’t have any strict criteria, so sometimes it simply comes down to the staff’s personal preference.
Also, it’s quite common for someo…
