The Instagram feed displayed on the website is the same one, so they’re essentially identical. Occasionally, the connection doesn’t work properly and the images may differ, though.
As for the selection criteria… Since faces aren’t shown on Instagram, things like the person’s outfit may be taken into consideration. However, we don’t have any strict criteria, so sometimes it simply comes down to the staff’s personal preference.
Also, it’s quite common for someone to forget to take a photo for Instagram.
So if your photo hasn’t been posted, it’s most likely just a coincidence. I wouldn’t worry about it too much.
