The woman I’m seeing keeps going to cosmetic surgery clinics and getting extremely thin, to the point that she’s becoming less attractive instead of more. What can I say to get her to stop?

I’m だて◎ゆめ, a male member. As far as I know, she was directly asked by someone close to her—probably a male colleague from work—“Have you had plastic surgery?” After hearing that he was “such a nasty, persistent person,” she stopped, haha. She was the type who wouldn’t listen even when I told her there was no point because cosmetic surgery barely changes anything… Apparently, comments from someone close to her, preferably around her own age and especially a guy, really do get to her, haha. I think she’ll stop if something gives her a reason to. Lately, she seems to be working really hard on the hip-lifting exercises I taught her before… haha.

I’m a male member, Paper Airplane. You don’t have to force yourself to keep it going… Why not take the time to find someone who’s a perfect fit in every way and truly satisfies you? It doesn’t seem like the woman you’re seeing is feeling fulfilled or comforted by you either…

I’m Aya, a female member. When it comes to being obsessed with beauty, women often become even more determined when a man tells them to stop. So I don’t think that woman will quit no matter what you say.

I’m Nana Ayase ♡ Why don’t you just quit dating? If you tell her that, it could be awkward if she lashes out at you. She might not understand and could even block you.

Maezawa from the CEO’s office here with an answer. I think it’s difficult to change someone’s values. No matter what you say, it probably won’t get through to them, so I think you should first consider whether you really want to continue seeing this person.
