I live in a hot region, so I like Tohoku because it feels so unreal.
Hokkaido is the best since the food is delicious too.

I’m in Seattle.
Hokkaido and Okinawa are still my favorites. I’m always happy when I’m invited.
In Atami, wandering around and trying tempura and other street food in the shopping district is pretty fun.

I’ve never gone on a trip or anything through papa-katsu (compensated dating in Japan).
Since it’s the autumn foliage season, I’d at least love for my papa (a male supporter) to take me to places like Kiyomizu-dera in Kyoto.

Shuzenji feels sexier than Atami.
Yeah, but Atami is sexy too, lol.
For the classic choices: Kyoto and Kanazawa.

I feel like Atami used to be the No. 1 destination people wanted to visit for their honeymoon, but these days, it seems to have lost that image.
I looked it up, and apparently that was around 1950. I was surprised to read that it declined because of the opening of the Shinkansen.
Atami also brings back memories of the “4126” commercial, but I wonder what it’s like these days.
Apparently, adult museums are disappearing one after another, so it might be worth visiting Atami’s while you still can. Come to think of it, I heard the one at Jozankei Onsen is gone too.
The adult museums themselves probably aren’t all that impressive anymore, but it’s kind of amazing to think that places like that used to exist all over the country.
Anyway, I got off track.

I think I’d be happy, but I also get the impression that many men either have wives or simply can’t go on trips.
P.S. Oh, was 4126 actually Ito? I had mixed them up. Sorry about that.
I looked at the website for the place with “Sun” in its name, and it said:
“At the underwater hot spring, ‘Fish Bath,’ you can enjoy a soak while watching the fish swimming in the tank built into the wall.”
It made me think they’re really trying hard to attract visitors in all sorts of ways.
