My runny nose won’t stop today. For those of you living in Tokyo, is this pollen?

My nose doesn’t even react to Japanese cedar pollen, so I wouldn’t know, haha. There’s pollen in the air in autumn too, and it could also just be a cold. Take care. Marika

I’m in Seattle. Apparently, there’s such a thing as temperature-change allergies. I get them too. It’s getting colder now—autumn is here. My runny nose clears up with hay fever medicine.

I’m Flagmaker, a column writer. Pollen is in the air all year round. I have year-round hay fever, and without allergy medication, I can’t even go on dates.

I’m Nana Ayase ♡ Pollen is surprisingly present all year round. Right now, it may be grass pollen. There’s also a possibility it could be COVID, and with the temperature differences becoming more extreme, some people may catch colds, so please take care of yourselves. Clear or white nasal discharge is usually due to hay fever. If it starts to become colored, it may be a cold or another infection. Around this time of year, many people are rushed to the hospital by ambulance because blood vessels become blocked or rupture in the brain or heart. If you smoke immediately after waking up, you’re putting yourself at serious risk. You don’t want to end up paralyzed from the waist down, do you? You wouldn’t be able to do papa-katsu (compensated dating in Japan) anymore. Quit smoking. Sleeping with a fan blowing directly on you will definitely make you catch a cold. Please get plenty of sleep. Take care of yourselves. ☆What I’m saying isn’t 100% accurate, so please get examined at a hospital☆
