What do you think about male members who joined this site with their friends sharing nude photos and the like of girls they met at Universal Studios in their messages? If I sue them, I can win, right?

I’m Taro, a male member. I believe laws exist to protect ordinary citizens who behave sensibly and ethically. The police and legal professionals must be taken aback the moment a client says they’re involved in papa-katsu (compensated dating in Japan). To begin with, isn’t it strange to casually let someone take nude photos of you just because money is involved? I’m sure there are girls who were deceived, so legally the approach is lenient, but fundamentally, the person who chooses to do such a thing is in the wrong. If it was done by a boyfriend, or if they were deceived by a scout, that would be understandable. But if someone voluntarily signed up for papa-katsu and did it, I doubt very many people would sympathize with them. I did a quick search on the Revenge Porn Act, and it seems publication is one of the requirements. If it was only shared with friends, I don’t think it would qualify. Taken out of context, this may seem unreasonable, but I think the underlying issue is what I mentioned above: “Isn’t it strange to let someone take nude photos of you in the first place?” I’m also not really sure what position the person asking the question is in. You’re not the victim, are you? Are you trying to reform society as some kind of champion of justice? This is unrelated to the question, but it reminded me of something. Every so often, there are women who pick fights and make things unnecessarily difficult. It’s like encountering a tailgater on the highway. Male members should probably keep that possibility in the back of their minds.

If she consented to having her picture taken, however, it may be a bit more complicated. > What do you think? I really wish people would stop doing things that make women uncomfortable. In fact, if the woman is upset about it, this seems like a case where the person could be permanently banned from the service, provided you can secure evidence. After that, I think it would be a good idea to consult a lawyer and discuss the most effective course of action.

If you were to take legal action, I imagine it would be for infringement of portrait rights, but I also wonder how you would gather evidence for a civil lawsuit. If the people involved saw this, they would probably delete the evidence. I think this is something you should consult a lawyer about rather than ask about in a public forum. I’m Dai, a male member. I’m not a legal professional, so I can’t say whether you’d win if you sued. Wouldn’t the key issue be whether her face is visible enough to identify her? That said, if she agreed to have nude photos taken, I think she did so understanding that this kind of risk existed.
