Maybe it simply comes down to personal preference and compatibility.
Some people start out uncomfortable with older men, but gradually come to appreciate what’s good about dating older men and eventually find men their own age lacking.
Others, however, may find that the more older men they meet, the more they realize they prefer men their own age.
Men can sense this too, so I feel that women of this type may eventually start making them wonder if there might be someone else more suitable.
Everyone is different, so if you feel it’s not for you, I don’t think you should force yourself.

People my age are at a good age now, so spending time with them is perfectly enjoyable. But when I was younger, just like Hana, I gradually lost interest in people my own age.
