Sometimes they miss the point or use inappropriate language, and I don’t understand why they respond so aggressively. What benefits do you think that kind of response style offers male members or prospective members?

Mamiyama from Universe Club here. The other answerers here can be pretty outspoken（笑), so I’ll apologize on their behalf. I’m sorry we made you feel uncomfortable. You may only have interacted with the staff through written messages, but once you meet them in person, I think you’ll find that they’re all reasonable and sincere in how they handle things. All staff members are required to look through this Q&A box before joining the company. The people who can think, “This may be unpleasant, but it’s good that there are different opinions,” even if only to some extent, tend to be better suited to the job and to matching people successfully. I’m not particularly confident in my choice of words either. I may deliberately use more direct expressions because I feel that polite wording that doesn’t offend anyone surprisingly doesn’t always stay with people. I’ll take your expectations seriously, and I hope we can work together to make this Q&A box a place where even more diverse opinions can be shared!

Maezawa from the CEO’s office here, answering as well. I know I tend to give pretty blunt answers, but that’s because I’m not a fan of vague responses that don’t really tell you what to do. That said, I’m sorry if that bothered you. But do you really prefer throwaway answers like: “That’s exactly right.” “It might be, or it might not be.” If you’d rather receive answers like that, I think it would be best to simply skip mine. I believe other staff members answer questions too, and some members also provide responses. You may find it more helpful to read those instead.

I’m Kazu, a male member. I think the anonymous Q&A box is valuable precisely because you get such blunt answers. Other dating clubs that only post positive comments seem suspicious. The anonymous Q&A box was what convinced me to join, so I think it has plenty of advantages. If you want the dating club staff to flatter you, just call FS and don’t bother reading the anonymous Q&A box.
