I can see why you might get that impression.
In reality, though, it may simply be that moderately wealthy people tend to be frugal, while once you cross a certain threshold, your whole attitude toward money changes.
The value of money itself may not change, but perhaps its impact on your lifestyle does.
For example, if an average person gave a woman a 150,000-yen allowance for one meeting, it would affect their finances.
But for some people, it wouldn’t affect them at all.
Does that make it easier to understand?
