I go to the movies pretty often, too.
If either of us has a movie we wants to see, we’ll usually watch that one.
These days, you can watch movies in couple seats with things like 4G or whatever, which is nice. It feels a bit like you’re floating through space.

I get the impression that men rarely invite women to the movies, but if a woman says she wants to see one, he’ll probably go with her.
That said, I don’t often hear about people actually going to the movies.

I do go out sometimes. I’ve never been the one to suggest it—rather, the woman will ask, “Would you like to go see ○○ together?” and I’ll go watch the movie with her.
It’s not that I have any particular purpose in mind. I just figure that my partner probably wants to do something besides dinner or going to a hotel once in a while, so I’m happy to go along with it.
