I’ve heard rumors that a large number of women from the adult entertainment industry have moved into papa-katsu (compensated dating in Japan), which has made me worry about sexually transmitted infections. In fact, applicants have already started increasing now that things are beginning to look better, so it may become more difficult again before long. If you’re worried about the interview standards, I think it would be best to apply now. However, I haven’t heard anything in particular about there being more women with experience in the adult entertainment industry, so it seems much the same as before.

Right now, it’s important for everyone to take good care of the people they’re already seeing, so I think it’s best to watch the timing and join when things are more settled. During last year’s state of emergency, the club itself was in an emergency situation, and there were serious concerns about both the number and quality of women. But we’ve somehow managed to get through it, and I think it won’t be long before we’re closer to our usual numbers and activity. As the number of women and offers increases, I don’t think the interview acceptance rate will change all that much.

I’m Kazu, a male member. I’ll refrain from answering since I don’t know what things were like before or how they’ve changed since then. By the way, am I the only one who finds the term “quality” extremely rude? Even if you’re referring to a group, you’re still calling people “quality.” It really says a lot about the kind of person using the term. There are women who come from the adult entertainment industry, but that industry and papa-katsu (compensated dating in Japan) are completely different, so most of them can’t adapt and disappear within a few months. The ones who remain seem to be women who treated their customers properly even when they were working in that industry. They tend to manage themselves fairly well, too, so they apparently get the proper testing and treatment. I think they’re much safer than women with no industry experience. Staff have also said in this Q&A that, because there are currently fewer female members due to COVID, the interview standards have become more lenient. So I believe it’s true that standards are more relaxed right now. Once things settle down, I think there’s a good chance the standards will return to normal or even become stricter.
