I think you’ll be fine as long as you give a reasonable explanation.
For example:
“I was embarrassed because a friend pointed it out the other day.”
or
“It would be a problem if my parents happened to see it.”
Something along those lines should be fine.
Also, sometimes people think they’re only doing it to a level that shouldn’t bother you. If you point it out, they may be more careful.
